The deeper you dig, greater the spring;
The more you learn, greater the knowledge.

Not only this but all the couplets from Thirukural are equally meaningful and motivating.  A book regarded holy by many was written on palm leaves in sometime during the 2nd century BC.

Time-bound: in Ahmadabad

Ahmadabad is the largest city of a western province Gujarat in India. It should not be an exaggeration if I say that Diwali is the most important festival in this part on the world. The business community celebrates a week long (or even longer!) holiday post Diwali. That means, most shops don’t open for a week or so. The streets look deserted even during the day. And that also means that if someone like me who is new to the city is going there post Diwali, it is a challenge to locate someone to ask directions! My time-bound visit to the city last weekend left me with two memorable experiences that exposed hidden traits of humanity to me.

Sentence spacing - Choose One or Two?

I am making it loud that I put a single space after a period or at the beginning of a sentence. Recently, I had to fall for a centuries-old practice of putting two spaces after a period to satisfy 'a few literally important' people. I did all the desk research that I could do to substantiate my practice. I feel ashamed that for a few seconds I even doubted myself to be wrong. Well, now the clouds have vanished and besides all the support for my practice, I found one really interesting article advocating 'single spacing', or say advocating the TRUTH. This article literally pulled me into laughter. I hope you too get lucky to be entertained. You are encouraged to read, whether are you a single or a double spacer.
