Ancient Wisdom: Thirukural

Saint Thiruvalluvar

The deeper you dig, greater the spring;
The more you learn, greater the knowledge.

Not only this but all the couplets from Thirukural are equally meaningful and motivating.  A book regarded holy by many was written on palm leaves in sometime during the 2nd century BC.

Blessed are those people who translated the holy book in English and made public here and here.

Blessed are those software wizards who developed a widget (and a gadget too!) to generate random kurals for the user and made it public here.

Saint Thiruvalluvar has been proclaimed as the Lighthouse.  People who have worked to make the light reach us are exemplary.  I am thankful to them, indeed.
